Our Social Mission
At Residency, we believe that digital transformation should go hand-in-hand with positive social impact. That’s why we build social value into everything we do, how we deliver work, how we support people, and how we protect the planet. Our goal is to make sure progress benefits everyone, not just a few.
Opening Pathways through Skills and Opportunity
We believe skills should lead to real jobs — not just certificates. That’s why we work closely with schools, communities, and partners to give young people and underrepresented individuals a clear route into digital and tech careers.

Delivered over 120 places on digital bootcamps and workshops in the past year

Partnered with St Mary’s School to deliver early engagement sessions, helping students explore careers in technology.

Focused on supporting those from low-income or underrepresented backgrounds.

Offered paid placements, mentorships, and post-course career support.

Co-designed local job-readiness initiatives with community groups and youth organisations.

We’re committed to helping people break into the digital economy — especially those who might otherwise be left out.
Our Work
Building Stronger Communities
We believe in community beyond the workplace. That’s why we build local partnerships, support grassroots initiatives, and take part in events that strengthen the places where we live and work.

We partnered with Spring Community Hub to support families in need during the holidays, providing food parcels, warm clothing, and festive activities that reached over 100 people in East London.

We’re working with Age UK to run digital drop in sessions and community support events for older adults, helping them stay connected and confident with technology.

We take part in charity event days and community led initiatives throughout the year, choosing causes that matter to our teams and local networks.

Our aim is simple: to show up, give back, and make a lasting difference in communities across the UK.
Our Commitment to Equity and Inclusion
We know the playing field isn’t always level — and we’re working to change that. We actively support underrepresented groups with the tools, support and confidence to thrive in digital careers.Through our social pledges, we:

Provide access to free training, mentoring and job support for candidates who face barriers to employment
Work with partners to support women in tech, disabled candidates, and individuals from ethnic minority and low-income backgrounds
Ensure our placements, hiring practices and internal promotions reflect our belief in fair opportunity for all
